the stupid comments on this post are exactly what I hate about the internet, the guy posting these videos should delete all of these comments and turn off comments on all of his videos... there's a lot of teachers out there teaching a lot of styles of this form, folks, and the comments here are mostly self-righteous BS.

This is 1940's Charleston NOT 1920's Charleston (flapper, etc). It's a good series of lessons.

I really don't see a point to post a video if it's not very successful. The girl obviously can't dance.

Sad to say, this swing ain't swinging. The Swing isn't a ballroom dance you mimic steps to, it's improv. It takes courage, creativity. You gotta swing! This is a start, but it ain't the swing, and it sure ain't the charleston.

I don't know why you think this isn't Charleston. It's not the solo Charleston or even the original partner Charleston, but it's the east coast swing version that you can mix in. This is a good video in my opinion, I like the transition.
