In The Beginning

A Beatle-Classical style piece...

Guitars, Choir-type SATB vocals, Woodwinds, Strings, Percussion, Tubular bells as a one-man-band!

It's a four (SATB) and five-part vocal piece (ten when doubled) with fully orchestrated strings (104 total real strings) and a complete woodwind (in pairs for some of it) section.

I scored and re-scored the parts over and over to get it just right. I have about 500 hrs in this 2 min song! The audio is 5 GB...the video is 30 GB (for 2 min!?!). It takes my computer (Mac mini) 8 min just to upload the video/program and another hour to render it (before I can edit it).

The artwork was done on my cell phone then animated in Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects. The audio was recorded on a digital 4-track then mixed on a Mac G4 using Digital Performer. All the parts were scored in Finale
