I know you're asking yourself, the bad guy near the end is firing the M16A1 with the M203. Why doesn't he just use the M203 instead of throwing a grenade? I'll tell you why, the movie is too badass and he's too manly just to pull the trigger and fire a 40 mm HE grenade right into the room. He has to be a true bad guy and savor every moment that he has to kill Taquila with pleasure, damn that's a good movie!

I love John Woo movies cuz he directs really great action scenes! I just saw a great doc that talked about the best Asian action movies called “Films of Fury”. It just came out on demand and had some really great scenes from John Woo movies and a bunch of other great films!

Tony Leung's character killed the gang member dressed as a security guard in the 3-way standoff. He then got into the uniform to pretend that he was gang member. He pretended to use Chow Yun Fat as a hostage.
