@sweetdrums295 As time goes on, wear and tear will show up far more on the white than the black. The difference is not the material of the bezel, rather, the contrast between dirt and white and dirt and black. My girlfriend and I both got iPad 2 on release day, hers is impossible to clean because the tiny scratches in the glass over the white collect dust and the discoloration is more noticeable. Also, I use mine more than she does hers, yet mine appears cleaner. Posted from my iPad 2 ;)

@doowstados i actually have a white and black ipod touch and the black shows physical wear more than the white. Besides, each bezel will have the same amount of scratch resistance, cuz they are the same glass. This can happen on either of them, and is actually more visible on black

i cant decide and i am getting one very soon, some how i like the white one cos it is different to the other apple products and may stand out more in the public eye (i just don't know )

You failed to mention that when the white iPad begins to accumulate small scratches on the bezel it will become permanently stained as microscopic dust and grease from your hands get lodged in said scratches.

....so white is better?

Urgh I can't decide. I think the white one looks awesome and seems better for reading and maybe hiding finger prints. However, the black one does seem classier, is better for watching videos, and I'm less likely to regret my decision in the long run. I'm so bad at making choices.
