@rfelton77 The majority of the planes are from the period before 1979,but all of this stuff was super high tech at that time,and it has been upgraded in the past centuries to modern warfare standards.Iran is expert in educating reverse-engineering ingeneers,and they can make every spare-part themselves.Thy now have some new warplane's too,which they designed and build all by themselves.Incl stealth fighters!

The airforce of obsolescence. The only new planes Iran has is the garbage it built for itself. NATO's F15, F22's and Eurofighters would one by one knock these turban headed "Rugriders" out of the sky.

I always loved the desert paint scheme used on Iranian Tomcats and Phantoms. They were such a great ally, it is so sad what has happened to that nation since the fall of the Shah. I hope the people of Iran can change their government before the current regime makes an even bigger mess then they already have.

@asinavi i dont know about the leader of iran, but dude, being american and calling iran a terrorist nation is like being hitler and calling others murderer. World war ended so many decades ago, but your politicians never stopped killing civilians till today . Please dont support such killings, you are doing the same mistake my german friends did in world war 2, they believed Hitler and you believe your imperial government while not realising that you are occupying many foreign lands
