If Eric were to leave Y&R, they would have to write Victor out somehow, because they could never re-cast Victor Newman. No other actor would ever be accepted in such a legendary role, who matter how talented they are.
Eric Braeden IS and ALWAYS WILL BE Victor Newman!

If Victor Leaves Y&R....i think I would be done watching it forawhile. And by awhile I mean til Noah grows up and becomes as ruthless and cunning as his grandpa. Hopefully he gets some common sense before then.

How very lucky you are to have actually met him let alone work with him. I've been searching on you tube for his commentaries when he appeared on politically incorrect-his sense of deep thought and life experience comes through when he speaks. He is very 'macho' and confident-a man who plays by his own rules. To say I'm his number 1 fan surely has been over stated-he is the ONLY reason I stick with Y&R. I'd like to see him in more works on the big screen as well as TV.

The funny thing about Eric Braeden is that he is really like "Victor Newman." He is very charming, but has an explosive temper too! Learned this all from working with him on his latest movie set.
