Aggrieved party with the camera sounds rather militant. No wonder she got the staff's backs up. There are ways of dealing with problems such as these. This is not one of them.
Its not like Ryanair's reputation is a big secret. Im with OrodesIII on this one. Let the buyer beware, if you buy tickets with Ryan air bring a full wallet for stealth taxes.

@DarmofQT But is it not Ryanair's policies? I don't hear of many, nor have I had any similar problems with any other airline's ground staff.

I'm guessing there is more to this we know.
No airport staff would refuse a passenger if the bag fits in the bin, especially non ryanair staff.
Either the bag was too heavy, or the passenger had a duty free bag, or maybe a handbag.
The hand lugagge rule is: strictly 1 piece of hand luggage, up to 10kg, and within the dimensions of the bin.
The passenger either mis interpreted thir refusal, or tried to redirect the problem to the bin.

the staff is so rude.....really Ryan air SUCKS.....they charge so much of money for nothing, for printing out a boarding pass they will charge 40 pounds, Thatz fucking insane......really it sucks....

sat returned from tenerife south, sussed the ground staff's scam had a torid time with them, but eventually got on the plane and our 40 euro back, cut along storey they had no reciepts and no tags for the luggage, my wifes bag easly fits except for 2 cm as the wheels protector sticks out, birminham, luton gatwick rome all agree the bag fits. got accused of asault held back from fling with a small child on boared they didnt care. RYANAIR cabin staff and captain were very understanding, so thanks

FUCK RYANAIR!!!! i just flew with them today...they ripped me off ...they are thieves...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! My printer was out of ink for my boarding pass..so, when i found out they have internet n printers at the airport..i was so happy..but unfortunately, i couldnt print n wasted 3pounds..so, they made me pay 40 pounds for a boarding pass..i was very upset n mad...i spend 35pounds for my baggages..so total i spent btw my flight 125 pounds, 35 and 40....which is 200pounds...

I'm sorry but, given the fact that everyone already knows how Ryanair screws its customers, I have no sympathy for anyone who freely chooses to fly with that outfit.
