1:God made Adam first, told him not to eat of the tree, “/then/” made Eve...2:God told Adam, because you listened to the voice of your wife, notice that God did “/not/” say to Eve, because you did “/not/” listen to your husband...3: God used the word “/curse/” to what the Serpent and Adam did in the garden, but “/not/” to what Eve did in the garden, reply?

@ChocoboKillerKanyo -- Isaiah: 55:8 kinda says it all!

Maybe the reason for the video is that someone is trying to apply earthly reasons and limited understanding to who, what and why GOD made things and his order...The verse "My ways are not your ways" should speak volumes to a person. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Genisis is not a book that you can try to analyse with cut out article thrown from so-called science magazines you subscribe. If you had subscribed for these magazines, go back few months prior on an article of a same subject. You'll find an article completely opposite to that article. Genesis on the other hand is the foundation for all other books of the Bible, which was written by many writers but under the guidence of one author.

Few people belive in Christianity now so Christian missionary tries very hard to convert people, sometimes by giving money, sometimes by giving accommodations.Sometimes poor people are lured by scholarships. This is the way to make people believe in Christinaity? Only stupid people believe in stupid things. Most people will stop believing in theistic religions nowaways.

This is a series of god VDOs. The Bible was simply made up by human beings. The author didnot get enlightened at all. The reason was simply that he wanted human beings to live in harmony and peace, so he made up several things and put them to the mount of God which actually doesnot exist. Only idiots believe in the existence of God now while many turn to Buddhism instead. We have highly developed scientifically already, so why we should move back to believing in out-of-fashion religion again.

To find out the root of this creation story research the "Shabaka Stone".

Changed ever since the first day it was written. Moreover, if you would like to compare you will see that modern science and especially science relating to dinosaurs and prehistoric animals have only been around for 200-300 at best but the Bible has at least been around for a few thousand years. So you would rather believe something that has been around for only a few hundred years over something that has been around for a few thousand?

Bible is saying the opposite it is wrong. What makes you believe more in what archaeologists and paleontologists have said is the way things came to be than what it says in the bible? What gives them more credibility than what the bible says? Thats why in science you have theories and hypothesis and you must conduct a plethora of tests to try and figure things out. Science is not 100% it is merely a severely educated guess and is constantly changing. However the bible is 100% and have never

Its impossible to try and explain the first chapter of Genesis using science. If the bible could be completely explained and verified using science then God wouldnt be as supreme as he is. Also, you are trying to compare the words in the bible which are God's own words to scientific theory or better yet scientific rubbish compared to how God says everything came to be. You are believing more in what humans have said by showing the evolution of land or water animals and saying that since the
You use your words well and I understand the concept, that it's fundamentalists who are the target audience in a sense, but I'm growing tired of atheists making videos explaining how Genesis is not literally correct. It casts us in an unpleasant light when it appears that all atheists read the bible literally.

@ChocoboKillerKanyo Perhaps you should re-watch the first video in the series, where I explain why I read the Bible literally. The author wanted to express a particular belief to the reader, and hiding it in layers of cryptic metaphor defeats the purpose; he wrote exactly what he meant. If it isn't literally true, it can be interpreted however the reader wants and it really doesn't matter what the author wrote.

@diagoras54 I agree, the truth of the Bible as God's word rests on either a literal interpretation being the correct methodology or that God brings unity of understanding regarding it. Neither is the case.

@IntelligentProbe I'm not really trying to show them it's not literally true so much as that the authors believed it was literally true, and were wrong. I want to show them that it isn't intended to be interpreted, and by doing so they're losing the actual point of the text.

excellently told. It is indeed confusing when you sit down and read Genesis for the first time, and you realise the author has already mentioned the creation of Adam and Eve in 1.26/ 27, then he creates them again in 2.7. and 2.22.
I dont think they had proof readers in the olden days!
Great Video.

@bonnie43uk Thanks. I hope I spoke slowly enough in this video; it's hard to fit everything I want to say within the time limit, especially since I don't know how long it's going to be until I actually record it.
