The other day Modesto News .org caught this awesome footage of the Modesto Fire Department at a brush fire off of Highway 99 near the Briggsmore overpass fighting a brush fire.
This footage is a really great example of how to stop a fast moving brush fire right in it's tracks. The Modesto Fire Department was able to take immediate control over the fire by quickly cutting a firebreak and then dowsing the remaining fire with water.
The Modesto Fire Department showed this fire who was boss and Modesto News .org was there to show you them in action.
