Big D Radio was one of the seminal free thought private commercial stations that emerged out of the UFO waves in Ireland, in the late 1970s. Declan Lowney produced this Award winning film, via the emerging Windmill Lane Film, TV and Sound production studios (Ref U2, and many more). Big D was to harbor the talent needed for the groundbreaking Radio NOVA and Sunshine Radio stations, derived from Radio Caroline.
This station Literally Changed History, and even gave you SKY Television many years later.

Excellent. I really enjoyed this. However seeing Jimmy Saville live on stage to about 80 people was quite funny.
