LASO ONI Walkthrough Guide Halo Reach Weekly Challenge Tips and Tricks Part 4

This guide will give you all the tips, tricks, and shortcuts you need to make it through ONI Sword Base on Legendary difficulty with all the skulls on in Halo Reach. This walkthrough will help you earn the weekly challenge LASO ONI. Make sure to watch all four parts so that you don't miss a single tip or trick.

I'm giving the game to you at double speed because the actual gameplay is about one hour and you don't want to sit through all that so instead of cutting stuff out, I'm showing you the entire walkthrough but at double speed.

Plasma Pistol + Headshot for them Elites if nothing else; In normal play it's just 1 overcharge and shields down. I know that in the first mission LASO it took 3 overcharges to take shields down of those mauve Elites (Field Marshal rank I think?) and maybe 2 headshots but we did it with assassinations and lots of whacking... These are mostly Ultra's I think though so maybe the noob combo works here...

Plasma pistol is ineffective with all skulls on. Assassination is the only practical way to kill an elite without a vehicle.

A good tip is to hit select to view which weapon you have out.

Thanks man! This is a great series and very helpful. As a note, I was able to get the Gauss turret vehicle past the barriers just by driving it up the right side and wedging it between the wall and the right barrier. Just figured to add that in! Keep 'em coming!

actually at the end if you died after your teammates lagged out, you wouldnt have to start the mission over again, its still in co-op mode so that when you spawn it would be like you were with teammates, and not solo
