  • @Kamfrenchie No, I'm not refering to that, since clipping exists in SC2. It's really far too much to explain. And to be honest, I'm no expert on game development. But I do know that the engines and a third dimension add many new factors to balance. And yeah, all those can be changed, but don't you see that we'll have to change so much about SC1 to balance it, that it won't be a copy at all? And even one change has an effect on EVERY strategy the pros have developed. So nothing would be the same.

    unless you're referring to the stack of units that cannot be done aswell anymore, I don't see what the problem is. hp, speed, fire rate, damage etc can be modified through the ditor, I'm almost sure of it.

  • @Kamfrenchie The physics engine and 3 dimensions make a balanced copy of BW impossible.

  • @Mikaia wtf are you crazy? I prefer Starcraft 1 over Starcraft 2 aswell! Where did I say something else, I just quoted Ranshin here, I dont think Sc2 is a bad game, I enjoy playing it sometimes, but Sc1 is clearly better, dont know where you read something different here, sc2gg is a website for Starcraft 1 (now there is Sc2 content aswell though)

    No need to, you think I meant start from the begiining? I meant just look at the characteristics of each unit in BW, then input them in SC2, and voila.

  • @Kamfrenchie Add in an extra 10,000 man-hours of testing for balance PER addition, and you'll be good to go.
