GROSS MELTED FACE

my 1st attempt at doing special fx make-up. check it. i made it with a mixture of gelatin and glycerin and then did the make-up and color over top.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Gelatin (Packets from Grocery store, unflavored)
Glycerin (Get at most stores, like cvs, walgreens... etc..)
Water
Cotton
Table spoon :)

HOW TO:
Mix in microwavable bowl
1 packet gelatin, 2 tablespoons water, and 2 tablespoons glycerine.
Microwave about 10 seconds. no more.
Mix.
Once cooled down a little, apply with spoon or popsicle stick to face. Layer one, then add some cotton where you want the bulges to be. Then keep adding layers and cotton.
LET DRY. Then Apply oil make up over top. If you want your mixture to be colored, you would add red food die or whatever color into the mixture b4 you apply it.

How did you get the bumps on your face? was it with Cotton balls? How did you do it?

@dynamicbaby63 - shredded cotton balls over a thin layer of the gelatin mixture. then putting gelatin over it.

my gelatin wont get hard..

it always stays in this sticky way...:\

@Freizeitschranzer - the gelatin dosnt ever get "hard" it will just dry to a soft gel so that it wont spread or change shape. it's always flexible though. if its not drying properly then maybe you've added too much water. also be sure to powder it. that will help set it and absorb any access moisture.
