Resident Evil 1 PC Walkthrough - Jill (Part 1)

A walkthrough from start to finish of me playing Resident Evil 1 on PC with Jill. Includes audio commentary from me! A Chris walkthrough will be around later.

I decided to do this because I ended up finding my ancient Resident Evil CD and decided to live the memories of this awesome game. As the microphone was accidently left on during my first play, it gave me an idea of providing a commentary throughout the entire completition of the game. None of it was rehearsed during the making of these video plays and the videos were only split into sections where the ink ribbon saves were used.

This first part covers the location of the bazooka, the "Jill Sandwich" shotgun room and the first zombie encounter!

Wow! I just rewatched this and its so out of date compared to the recent Chris ones I made. Plus its really hard to hear. Anyone want me to remake the Jill ones again sometime with better sound later? I do have the REmake on Wii too.

how did you get it to run normal speed? mines like twice as fast

When I was recording it back then, for some reason the framerate on FRAPS was like 10-15 all the time. I'm not sure why. Probably dodgy NVIDIA drivers back then or something...

this game is amazing but it's just so hilariously bad in a way, but for it's time it was pretty freaking awesome, they graphics well, that's normal for a game from 1996, so that's fine but I'm pretty sure OOT had better graphics and was released at the same time, now the voice acting, I don't want to criticize an old game but it was terrible, it's actually so bad it makes me laugh. But look at Resident Evil now, in five games, look at how far everything has gone. Yes Capcom.
