New Trier Wins 2010 State Tennis Title

Stineman wIns Singles Title. Mang/Hiltzik take 3rd i doubles. The Jacobsons lost 2nd round, but came back to win four in the backdraw. Jones won 3 main draw matches then played thru a broken finger to get 2 more points in the back. Hinsdale's #2 team, who hadn't lost to anyone besides teammates all year, went down to Fremd in the quarters. Then Hoogland beats Bloom in the backdraw semis. Then Oak Park beats Hinsdale's #2 doubles team to ensure an outright team victory for NT.
A lot of things had to happen/go right for New Trier to win 2010 State Tennis Title.

And they did.

This was a program wide STATE CHAMPIONSHIP for NEW TRIER BOYS TENNIS. We will miss competing against the HC senior class - they all had great hs tennis carreers...
