  • Thank you very much for your interview. The points you are discussing are very important.

  • Finally, is this symptomatic of a complex that weve developed through time because of the lasting intellectual, scientific and technological superiority of a group of kuffar people?

  • I just want to add that I am fully aware that the concepts of reason and equality before law are constituent elements of the Islamic thought; unfortunately, I am also inclined to thing that today, the majority of Muslims have pushed those very important issues into the background to the advantage of ideas and concepts foreign to/incompatible with contemporary western thought.

  • Muslims living in Britain behave better than those living in Algeria for example because they are compelled to do so in a society managed mainly by REASON and in which EQUALITY BEFORE LAW stands at the top of its tenets. It's called modernity within a genuine democracy. No matter how much one considers Islam as an ideal system in theory, we human beings need more than sheer faith to build up a viable civil society and Muslims are not exception.

  • u purhaps right
