During bad times for the NHL the New York market (well actually just the Rangers) has been one that consistently has some of the most loyal and passionate fans. There is a reason why the games were always sold out. back in the 70's in particular the Rangers were HUGE in NY...and they were in commercials! Sasson jeans anyone?
