@brattchx She was here to attend to the burial rites of his assassinated husband and stayed put in the Philippines. Early onset of the people power revolution saw here in Cebu with the cloistered nuns since she was on the campaign trail for the civil disobedience movement. Cory was never appointed by Ramos to the presidency, she assumed the mantle of the presidency in view that she won the 1986 presidential snap elections. The rest is history.
