  • this is the real sound of Deep Purple with Blackmore! you can't get ani better, and it so nice,

  • This song was actually filmed while it was recorded. Here is to hoping Roger puts it on a DVD with the Perfect Strangers remaster due this year.

  • Sorry S T A R P A S S! haha

  • Hey Srapass, am a long-time fan of Richies,

especially when he was in Rainbow!

I was in a group called Rainbow Bridge- in my youth!

Thanks for sharing his 'golden strings'!

    Love+ Hugs

  • One of the most emotional instrumental's ever written, amazing!

  • @plijevo Yes indeed. When Purple started out they wanted to sound loud and proud like Zeppelin, Sabbath, and a mixture of these bands, but thank the Heavens they found their own sound. Mark ll was the best lineup that could go up against any band and blow the doors off of them.

I saw them in 72 for the Made in Japan tour. It is something I will never forget. My ears rang for 2 days lol

Richie in Black and Gillan dressed in a white suit..Rodger with his sorta cowboy hat..Paisey and Lord. Memories

  • @empipemp Cheers for the info, i didn't know that. Yeah i originally got the album on vinyl back in '85 (which still plays with a few crackles here and there) but i didn't get any of the 7inch, 12 inch singles at the time. I recently got the PS 1999 cd remaster for only £2.99 off the web which has this track included.

    Regards.

    David.

  • Such a Big Heart full of the Blues. As far as my opinion goes; he's the best.

  • Interesting track, cheers so much for posting. I bought PS on cd back in the early 90's but that issue only has Not Reponsible as a bonus track.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU RITCHIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Allways Ritchie Blackmore god player guitariste
