@SirBadelbows just the other way around man... 'Soar' and 'S/T' are more chaotic, less melodic, less musical skills. 'Clumsy', 'Ashtray' and 'you're freakin' me out' are their best. Depends on what you like to hear. I like their big choruses!!!

Where are the OLD songs??

Samiam is great, but let's be honest. Their best records are S/T and Soar. That's when the band was at it's peak, and their current shows should reflect that fact. They were fading even by the time Billy came out. I get that you've been around for 22 years and you want to play new shit, but throw us a fucking bone! 6 or 7 records...there should be 2 or 3 songs from each at every show.

Get James back. Songwriting got a bit worse when he left...

THANKS for posting this! I'm a photographer and I had to work Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio when they played this show. Samiam is one of my favorite bands of all time and I have STILL never got to see them live. They played in Indianapolis at a bar before I was 21 years old. There was actually a lot of us sitting outside trying to watch through the window, lol. Big fans in Indy, but they haven't been back. Hell, we've been trying to book them forever. Maybe I'll catch them this year tour.
