  • Bush the Elder was really the right president at the right time. Having been Reagan's VP meant that he understood and was able to continue Reagan's approach, but was also able to bring a more detail-oriented temperament and a lifetime of foreign policy experience to the white house. There was no one better suited than he was to play the endgame of the Cold War. It's fitting that the last World War II vet to be president was in the white house watching the world that war forged come to an end.

  • @AudreyT94 he was born in massachusetts

  • how come he doesn't have a texan accent like dubya?

  • This president Bush was an average president. I can say .so far. he was better than Obama, he was a HELL OF A LOT BETTER than his son, he (for the most part) was better than Carter, and he was even better than Saint Reagan. The '90-'91 recession was just the buisness cycle doing it's thing, but Reagan's LARGE deficit and shitty economic polices had its contribution as well. I must say though, he should've never picked Dan Quayle to be V.P., he should've picked Dole instead.

  • He needs the 1989 version of a teleprompter...just like Obama.

  • @tehdouglas1 When do you plan to return to planet Earth?

  • "Sarah, if the American people had ever known the truth about what we Bushes have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched."

-President George Bush Sr., speaking in an interview with Sarah McClendon, December 1992

  • His father, Prescott, and his fellow partner E. Roland Harriman, son of railroad tycoon Edward Harriman, were directors for Fritz Thyssen's Union Banking Corporation in New York whose assets were seized in 1942 after it was revealed that the UBC spent millions to fund the Hitler regime.

  • Bush Sr. was a top Skull and Bonesman and a fmr. CIA agent involved in the JFK assassination and the Iran-Contra scandal in which mass amounts of cocaine was illegally imported to America from his partner in crime, Manuel Noriega, who was also a fmr. CIA agent charged for drug trafficking after being ousted as Panama dictator.
