Elsu won the 2005 Interdominion while having a lame leg, so effectively he clean-swept the Interdoms on 3 legs.
How many races did Blackie sit 3 wide for 1200m and win by 3-lengths? Elsu also broke the Australiasian 1-mile record, doing 1:53.6 in a canter.
The evidence is overwhelming, Blackie is still a great horse, but I think Elsu was simply sublime in comparison.
