I would love to see some footage of the railway that ran through Worsley and Monton into Manchester. I remember going on it when very young. Anyone know if any footage exists?

Salford changed so much during the 80's. One woman is to blame for that.

xxx ... me too ... I'd LOVE to see movies of Worsley station etc ... You can tell my age 'cos I used to commute from Worsley to Manchester on this line daily! I live within a few hundred yards of the old Worsley Station!
I've found many photos of the old Stations on the route ... but no videos! .... Sorry .... Dave

Nice video, but I don't remember Worsley being part of salford when I was a lad

Thanks for the video, what amazed me most was you being able to get out of the area with your camera intact for part2. Must have been filmed on a Sunday when all the inhabitants would have been at church ;-)

True .... it WAS filmed on a quiet Sunday morning!!!!! ..... Mind you it HAD to be ... I worked as a Probation Officer in the area during the rest of the week!
