PORT ORCHARD IS THE BIGGEST SHIT HOLE IN KITSAP COUNTY !!!!! don't go there!!! if you want to go somewhere nice go to PORT TOWNSEND !!! its way better and ten times more beautiful in port towensend . if you go to port orchard you will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED .

I lived in Bremerton and Port Orchard as a child. It rained often and it had a small town feel but the land is astonishing! We rode the ferries to Seattle very easily. We traveled to the coast which is extraordinary. One of the greatest memories I have is of the Native American Suquamish resonating a vibe throughout the region. That is something lacking in the Philadelphia area where I am living now. I long to go back to Seattle. Nothing has compared to its beauty and friendliness of that area!

I was stationed in Bremerton in the early 80's and really liked going to port orchard, very quaint city. I recently went back in the summer of 2011 and was shocked at how run down the downtown area had become. Lots of closed stores and almost nowhere to get a good meal. I guess that fate is similar in a lot of small towns nowadays.

I live in Port Orchard and I have never seen any of this stuff.It rains all the time and there are very few jobs here.I really dont like it here.I stay off of Lund Road in Port Orchard.Its not a bad town if your retired and have alot of money.my wife is in the navy and and moving from san diego to here is a major downgrade.now seattle is a different story..they have all the jobs and it is a better place to leave.to bad its to far from the naval base
