@SetupUsername what does an eclipse have anything to do with this? anyway the 7m is a junky motor, the head doesnt breath, the intake manni is so restrictive, and the stock turbo is good for a bar of boost...MAX. anything more and that turbo will be gone in 6 months...now put a smoother turbo on, an ffim, and port the fuck outta that head and replace the headgasket yea...you have a decent motor but nothing comparable to the jz family.

Nope, been running 93 octane premium at 19 psi for years. Not a problem with a properly tuned 2JZ.
