I would advise researching to see if any such product line still exists. Monkey Barrz keeps me busy now, so I don't do as many chemical services as I used to do. As "stupidbrain1" noted..."she has healthy hair". It wasn't that way when she first came to me. Between proper relaxing/extension techniques and timely maintenance, Sandra was able to grow her own hair back out. The extensions actually helped protect the ends of her own hair.

Actually, I did wash her hair between removing the extensions and doing the relaxer. There was a chelation system out designed specifically for that purpose. The theory was; If the hair was clean, the relaxer could work more efficiently and do much less damage to the client's hair. The trick was to NOT scrub the scalp...and it worked great. Never had a problem. Bottom line - only do chemical services that you're 100% comfortable doing, especially when doing them in conjunction with extensions.

If she's going to get a relaxer, her hair cannot be freshly washed. Did the removal solution interfere with the relaxer application without having it washed out?
