A single EMD SD38-2 powers a consist of the IHB Railroad through Dalton, IL. These rails host the IHB, CSX, Norfolk Southern, UP, BNSF, and Amtrak.

  • I have noticed in photographs/videos that IHB Railroad always seem to use the minimum number of locomotives when possible. I have seen single GP38-2 of IBH haul long trains (i assume, as most pics one can't see the end of the train).

    Nice video! BTW!

  • @CMRomeo Thank you! The compliment is much appreciated!

  • Thanks. It is a very, very busy area with UP, CSX, NS, etc....

  • Thanks for the compliments! Check out my new Forum, mentioned in my latest upload of this date!

  • @SceneOneVideo You are welcome!

  • Awesome video! I like that crossing scene with the signals!

  • Thanks. It's quite a busy area as you know; not a place to be stopped if you're in a rush to get from Point A to Point B.

  • Right you are...it is an SD38-2. Thanks for catching that typo on my part!
