Look at the shit that replaced it... our current tallest building.

What goes up....

@asbestosfiber Yes they do. There are more old skyscrapers restored in Fort Worth alone than were demolished.
-
don't bother watching the first 1:25 minutes

@LordoftheKaty ... you are so correct. I was in my early 20's when dad and I went downtown to watch the implosion. I remembered as a kid my dentist office was on, I think, the 7th or 8th floor of this building and it still had elevator operators. The building that is standing there now has absolutely no beauty to it compared to the old Medical Arts Building. I miss it even to this day. Looking across Burkburnet park and not seeing what was there and seeing what is today is no comparison.

only in the 1960's and 70's were people stupid enough to demolish beautiful historic buildings. google the original New York Penn Station, and see what happened to it. it makes me sick.

Too bad these old home movie cameras weren't equipt with sound back then.

terrible shame

It looks like the video was shot with a circa 1940's camera....was it reel to reel or something?

What a horrible waste.
Could you try running this film backwards?
