@nrodge1Yes ill check it out and yes I am keeping a eye on here but we do not get much rain in winter but this year mother nature well she as a mine of her own and i notice the ice on the blades with a fool moon one night the blade where shinier so we took here down to make sure all was ok and it is ill check that site to later.

@GoodChiii, check out wikipedia "De-ice" and when it gets like that just hit the stop switch till the sun can melt the ice. The ice can also cause an imbalance. You will have to keep an eye on it in storms like that. Hope you don't get a lot of those. I would think you could see the buildup with binoculars from certain angles.
