Crank that memory up to 1600. dont be scared. unless its only 1333. If you get 1600 put them in the white slots.

@2k11fluffy the phenom yes You can, but you can not do sli on this board, for it the 790fx chipset does not support sli. If you want to make an amd system with sli you will need to buy a motherboard with the AM3+ socket that has a 990fx chipset.

can anyone help me from what i saw on new egg this thing only have 1 case fan header, how would i connect the other 2 to the board?

@ownageman1240 Actually there is two fan headers, and you can connect the other fan by geting a 3pin to molex adapter so you can connect the other fan to your power supply.
