The Bee Movie, an important message of our times, since the population of bees has declined, pollination, is a non negotiable process, it is one of our main sources for food in the world. So children, the next time a bee is buzzing around you, do not swat at it or try to kill it. Bees have a much bigger task at hand by pollinating plants, and making nectar for honey. 1/3 of our world food source, and honey come from these working bees. Do not fear Bees, they are like other insects that provide an important purpose on our planet.

  • And keep in mind that statistic of 1/3 of our world food is not accurate - other bee species are also pollinating - often doing the majority of the pollination.

  • By using pollen guns the male bee are overcompensating for lack of corbiculae (they have skinny legs which can't hold pollen). Female bees collect the pollen and nectar for the hive, male bees do not - male bees do not have corbiculae/pollen basket (part of the tibia on the hind legs). One of many reasons this movie may confuse children about bees. "You know, I don't even like honey! I don't eat it! & for your information, I prefer sugar-free, artificial sweeteners MADE BY MAN!
