What do you mean? I have watched lots of documentary on science and this woman's presentations certainly rank among the best. She tries to simplify everything so that everyone could understand. You need to know what you are talking about before you make your comments.

@MaxTayler2k8 24 mins in and I am enjoying it so far. To be fair to her this is on the TV. I would say most people in the UK have very little astronomical knowledge. Ask your one of your non geek mates to point out a major constellation on a dark night.
I think its great that the BBC are making interesting programs for the masses. They should show programs like this in schools get the kids interested in things bigger and more important than ourselves.

i watched the show on BBC 2 "Do We Need The Moon" and it was one of the worst tv shows ive ever watched, if your interested in this kind of thing, go watch somebody who knows who they are talking about rather than this woman who has just memorised a bunch of facts!

yes it was a good watch. she's fantastic. I have a lot to thank her for. I would like to let Maggie know that as the moon affects the tides this surely is why the moon affects peoples temperaments when it is full because of the water we have in our bodies. Many suffer headaches , clumsiness and anger.

Just watched "Do We Need The Moon" for an hour on BBC2 in UK presented by Maggie. It was a really good watch. If you can watch then pls do. she is quite a lady!
