This new wattmeter is a very similar copy of the Watt's up meter but at fraction of the cost: around 30$ at Hobbycity
This Review is showing you the PERFORMANCES comparaisons between it and the WATT's UP METER.

  • cool vid je vais en commandé un bientot j'ai hate que l'été arrive en passant je présume que tu vien du quebec ?

  • Oui, Biensur, De la belle ville de Quebec!

  • what kind of plug do you use and where can I buy them?

  • These connectors are rated 30 or 45A and are called Anderson Powerpole.

The also make strong connector for up to 350A ( the SB350)

  • Doc,

How about other features? I think "Watts Up" offers peak amperage readings and minimum voltage (similar to "data hold" options that some more expensive voltmeters offer). How about the Turnigy?

    Thanks!

  • Same features except it can't count the Ah in reverse current i think ( an entire threah is on the Endless-Sphere forum

  • got one. a bad one. oscilloscope measures 24.0 volts. 130A measures 20.09 volts. POS. Hoping an external battery will improve.

  • Hi there, there is a review online that says that the power meter will not measure current below 300mA. Is this correct. What are the specs ? Thanks

  • i was told that watts up meter was beter for low amps is this true .im just geting into this and im gona buy one

  • Thankx for tip! Nice tool!

  • i got what is bacically a whatts up meter for £3.00 reduced from £5.00

  • Hi

I got my turingy meter and it is widely inaccurate at low wattage, my bike light is 25w and draw about 0.8 amp at 33 V and the amp reading is off by 25%. I think the problem is <1.5 A as my other light that does 4.8A at 7V is read fine.

Can you please check both your devices at similar load, if they give accurate readings?
