The Geronimo Creek Sewer Project that's designed to carry dirty water to a treatment plant continues to cause major pollution of the creek. The silt fence shown here was designed to protect a manhole directly adjacent to the creek from still more erosion. But now a 4.45-inch rain has eroded this silt fence and one below, which was ruined by a rise on the creek. The city of Seguin has been made well aware of these and related problems and has failed to correct them, even though they violate common sense storm water runoff rules and the Federal Clean Water Act.
