@hackyzach..dude..jesus christ are you serious, im pretty sure anyone whose ever heard this song can hear the obvious glacier references..but as many have said, you nor anyone else knows whether she means it literally or COMPLETELY metaphorically..so keep rockin this song out in your hybrid but please save the preaching for something like getting your greenpeace group hyped up before a big whale saving expedition haha

@hackyzach Actually I think you are taking the song too literally. I think this song is more about artifice and excess of all sorts. Though I do think that the celebrity cause du jour is certainly in her cross hairs as well. I guess when we have coffee with her we will have to ask her! :)

songs like this and Ramalama are her strong suit. Her dancy stuff is fine, but here is where she really shines.

Does no one realize that this song is about environmental issues? Global warming/climate change? Its not about how pretty Miami is, its a warning to Miami that its going to sink "under melted snow," i.e. the polar ice caps. Its a fantastic song, but it goes a little deeper than just being a dance hit.
