Skydive Twin Cities - Skydive Baldwin - AFF Level III May 31, 1993
I did some skydiving on and off between Aug 5, 1989 and July 16, 1994. I did a total of 23 jumps and graduated AFF but never did get licensed. This is my 12th skydive. It was a Level 3 in the Accelerated Freefall program. The website http://www.skydivetwincities.com shows they use a Category system now.
I don't remember who the Videographer was (Mark?) but he gave me a freebie because he was testing his new camera. (A Huge Thank You to him!) The AFF Instructor to the right of the screen in freefall is John L (I think, it's kind of hard to read his signature in my logbook). The AFF Instructor to the left of the screen in freefall is Miles Hubbard. I would like to say a whole bunch of really nice things about Miles. But I'm just going to go with another Huge Thank You. Some of the best memories I'll ever have were the AFF jumps I did with Miles.
John was a bit heavier than me and Miles so he was having a hard time slowing his fall.
There are some hand signals used during AFF jumps. When Miles gives the pistol point it's the signal to me to pull the ripcord.
After everyone is under canopy the cameraman flies side by side with Miles for a bit.
why didnt you continue ? well its not to late yet :D
