Mickey's Fun Wheel Cast Member Lighting Ceremony

On May 12, 2009 Cast Members were invited to watch the dedication lighting ceremony of Mickey's Fun Wheel. Guest speakers included the Disneyland Resort Ambassadors, Disneyland President Ed Grier, Disney's California Adventure Vice President Mary Niven and Director / Sr. Show Producer for WDI Lisa Girolami.

The event was scheduled to take place at 7:45pm,but they tried to postpone the actual lighting ceremony as long as they could since it was still light out. But because the event was for a short time, they tried to hold out as long as they could.

Wow. You gotta love the crowds reaction to the rainbow part of the light show. It's funny cuz I had the same reaction!

I seen the wheel lighed up I was at COCO's accorss the street eating, it is cool that the cast members was able to ride it
