TOKYO (11/29/2010) - Sharp will launch its Galapagos e-book tablets in Japan on Dec. 10, it said Monday. The tablets will go on sale nationwide in two versions: one has a 5.5-inch screen and the other has a 10.8-inch screen.

  • From memory Japanese manufacturers are more interested in DRMs than making their products neat and easy to use. They seemed to have lost mind by hard strikes from Apple, rushing to release immature products with ridiculous pricing - not too ridiculous if recalling they used to charge as much as they want in the old gold days, say Sony laptops.
