I had done a video of just showing my altar earlier, I decided to make a video in which I explained where I obtained each item. I apologize about my accent btw, I hope I wasn't completely incomprehensible. Comments are welcome. :)

  • A-tham-e? thats the first time I've ever heard it pronounced that way XD Kool alter though

  • @Chiloo13: Yes, I unfortunately mispronounced it when I made this video 3 yrs ago.

  • where did you found that beautiful pentagram?

  • @jin54363: I made it out of clay. :)

  • i would like to know if an athame has to be double edged or if it can be single edged, and if it can be a single edged knife or "athame" can it be a folding knife

  • @fatlizzard19: "Traditionally" speaking, it's typically a double-edged blade. However, please keep in mind that there is no 'one' way that is the 'right' way in Wicca. Do what feels the most comfortable for you. Also, another thing to keep in mind is, the power lies within the witch, not the tools. The tools are there to aid you in your workings. The same level of success can be accomplished w/o any tools at all, by simply using your index finger. So don't put so much importance on the items. :)

  • @Ramohog: I appreciate your concern and what you think is the truth. But there are many paths to enlightenment, and your Jesus does not hold the patent on "the way". I wish you the best regardless. :)

  • i was thinking "arent there catholic altars?" so i looked them up, and to be honest, they could be an expensive pagan altar in a church. just look at it, a christian altar usually has the following: central symbol, mary statuet, crusafix, flowers and two or three candles. HELLO pagan!

  • @jessikagurl101 You need to use charcoal. Find some designed for this; they are round and have chemicals in them so they will light easily. I buy mine at a health food store. You can also get them at most occult stores, Catholic supply stores, on online -- google "incense briquettes."

  • I just put together my altar and I have powdered incense but idk how to use it.. i try to light it by itself but it won't burn... help?

  • beautiful altar; Blessings
