Love's a risk. You put down all your armor, bare your soul and jump.
When you've been burned in love a few times like Rick & Kate on Castle that armor gets lots of chinks, really thick, and very heavy with lots of straps. Over the last two seasons we've seen them patch chinks, loosen straps and thin the plates but just when it seems like they might jump one of them does something stupid and the shields are back up.
When I heard this song, Everything by Lifehouse, I thought it sounded like someone finally finding the courage to jump and tell that person that they love them.
Love can't be rushed, when it's rushed it will fail, that's part of the reason I love the dance Kate and Castle do.
