Seriously you guys are like a bunch of jealous fan boys/ fan girls. Amy Lee did make the song her's in a way, He got her to sing this with him, because he thought it would make it 'BETTER'. I don't know what thats such a hard concept. If he didn't think it was as good, or better he would not have released it. Seriously stop putting your fan boy juices all over the comments, and bashing Amy lee for being amazing. Just enjoy the song, eh?

@necropolis3110 Yeah you're just stupid. Amy Lee is much better then say some of the more anoyying female singers. Imagine in some misundertood universe they had put TS, or MS on this song, and seemed to ruin it. I don't think this version without Amy Lee is better, but it was the first I listened. Honestly I find his version of the second verse horrid.

I can not stand Amy Lee. Her voice is annoying as hell. I bought this CD when it first came out in 2002 and listened to this song over and over. It sounds so better with only Shawn in it. Her voice ruins the song. I can't even stand to listen to Evanesence because I can't stand her voice. Its almost as bad as Flyleaf. This version is so much better as a solo instead of the duet. Most people like the other version, but not me. If I hear the version with Amy Lee playing, I'll cut it off.

i like the one with amy lee better because it gives the true feeling of the connection of a relationship with someone. and not just someone that you are with, but that person that you want to be with forever. the original just doesn't do that on it's own

the original is better because it is preformed the way it was meant to be when written. or at least in my opinion it fits the song much better. gotta love shaun
