@hersheybar11 On Apr 9th 2010 I had an aortic valve installed in my heart. It took place at Sunnybrook Health Sciences - Toronto. After I had been playing hockey, my GP heard a slussy sound (not Lub Dud Lub) from the aortic valve. My doctors did a wonderful job - the nursing staff as well. God Bless them all." = GrandpaChris (I want to live to see my grand-daughter be married . . .)

i hope to be a cardiac Surgeon one day.. this is really good motivation yet im only in the 6th grade. thumbs up if you wish to be a cardiac surgeon or any other type of surgeon.

Major open heart surgery saved my husbands` life ,back in 1989...Sadly ,after many years of happiness together ,and a little surprise in the shape of our 3rd daughter:)..we lost him just over 4 years ago..

Wish u all the best. I had the same dreams when I was in grade 9 and now I am surgeon... Your words bring back memories...
You must do all your school well everyday, read up on scientific articles - Love science, enrich your knowledge on Systems of the Body, do some good studies on Chemistry and Physics as well. Do these well and u will be able to get into a medical school.
