@NWsubmom My comment on Bushes wars was aimed at the cost of those wars while reducing taxes to pay for them. Your comment about "Obama's wars" is a diversion from your issue. My point, he BORROWED money to pay for those wars. He used emergency funding constantly, very dishonest. On the mortgage market issue. Yes, Bush is not solely responsible. Johnson, Bush, Clinton, Bush, congressman and the Fed all share some responsibility. But Bush's private subprime mortgages was the huge, final disgrace.

That whole venture was done on credit. additionally,by defunding the regulatory agencies and appointing corporate types, it encouraged the corporates to forget their fiduciary responsibilities and to go for the quick buck bringing us to this clever satire.
