@MusashiOak Is he still the tech there?
-
where do ther threes go after the flams ? or flams in one sections then the threes
-
He's most likely using his middle finger for the fulcrum, as opposed to the index finger and thumb. Loads of players play this way. Check out SCV's 08 Tenor line in some Vic videos of them on field. It's just another way to play.
-
giant gap inbetween thumb and pointer finger in the right hand...just saying
-
zach is a really good teacher. i've met him a crown winter camps. nice guy. wish i could take lessons from him.
-
I love how incredibly relaxed his right hand looks
-
@SomeGuyDrumming that could be his sticks
-
@SomeGuyDrumming With traditional grip, it's virtually impossible for even the best players to have their hands sound exactly the same. It's two different grips using two different rotations, and most of the left hand is under the stick compared to the right.
-
Geez his flam quality is super crisp and defined. I love it
-
wen he played the 3s his hands had different tones
i really like zach's playing and teaching, both are very solid. he's the snare tech for carolina crown, just fyi.

This guy is a lot better than some of these other VF hybrid rudiment guys at not assuming the watcher already totally understands the rudiment and is comfortable playing them.
