@linzitazim IMO the GP290 is junk and the 30.5 is a truck motor.
For speed in a buggy it's hard to beat a ported 23 or 26cc. A jetPro will wake up the motor too, but a 30.5 or even the 28.5 just doesn't have enough rpm to feel peppy. The stock Zenoah G260 would stomp a mudhole in this Gp290 anyday of the week.
Thanks for the comment and best of luck to ya.

@ray671984 Not bad for a Mutilator eh?
Total cost of changeover was about $400 including the motor.

@poopdogsays awsome job mate well like i said on 5thscale tx and rx 2.4 on order just got to wait now then i think some small mods done like k&n ect start with build up from there :)

@ray671984 No K&N! They allow too much dirt to pass through and it takes out the motor. If you want to know what mods to do, start up a thread with what you have and your budget. You'll get all sorts of ideas. I can push the firehammer parts hard enough, get them now while you still can. The Mut plastics are weak and brittle. Mine broke almost every piece with just small low speed rollovers. The Mut parts are weak! Trust me, remember, mine looked like yours 2 years ago. Check out my old vids...

@ray671984 All K&N's are junk Period. The filter allows too much dirt to pass through the fibers of the cloth that the filter is made from. Stock FG foam is the best filter on the market. Next best is the stock HPI baja 5b filter, both must be oiled with filter oil.
K&N is for a street driven full scale car.
