Howard Zinn on Convening a Progressive Cabinet

This is the video greeting for the first ever Progressive Cabinet Summit. Professor Zinn's comments will be used to open a strategy meeting on June 26, 2007 at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This meeting is being organized by the Backbone Campaign (http://backbonecampaign.org) as the next step in a multi-year effort to promote the progressive movement as a "Propositional movement, with the leaders and ideas to run the country."

In 2005 we began a series of podcast/webcast conference calls (61 to date - 6-11-07) called Conversations with the Cabinet, featuring our nation's most effective progressive policy and movement leaders.
