My friend Michael is trying out his brand new Hofner Verythin Contemporary. Strung with D'Addario EXL145 (.012-.054) roundwound nickelstrings. Dunlop Gator 1,5 mm pick through a 70´s Fender Twin Reverb amp.

  • Super, super sounds and great playing - think I'll sell my 335 and get one of these and a twin - and a new set of hands :-) Thanks for posting!

  • You can get the Contemporary model for less than 900$.

  • Yo! For a gear n00b like me, the stock pickups work just fine. I guess you could experiment alot with pickups, but I havent done it yet. For the time, they work great. Thanks for commenting!

  • Nice!

Is this guitar good enough with the stock pickups or they should be replaced?

  • Geez...thank for the compliment, very nice of you. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment as well. See you around, best regards! Sandemose

  • Great sound/tone dude! One personal comment - I have found that as much of the sound comes from the player as the gear (hint - this is a compliment ) ;-)

  • what a sound! Great!!

  • Glad you liked this random noodling :) Thanks for commenting!

  • thanks for putting this together. :)

  • Hey, thanks for listening and commenting. It got a great jazz sound as well, thats the reason I bought it. The sound comes out quite mid-rangy in this clip due to Twin Reverb amp (bright but beutiful quality) and the camere mic. I use this mostly with a solidstate amp (Peavey from mid -90, transtube bla bla) and the guitar sounds much more like a jazz guitar with it. I will try to put out some playing with more of a jazz vibe. Best wishes, Sandemose
