OK PEOPLE WE GOT TO PUT OUR GAME FACE BACK ON FOR 2012, IS COMING AND WE ARE GOING TO SHOW THESE REPUBLICANS WE ARE AMERICANS TOO. LETS MAKE HISTORY AGAIN IN 2012. love and PEACE!

That's nice. Is it so bad that in this world that it takes an organization such as "city year" to get people off their asses and motivated to do something with their lives?
And why is it that this organization and others like it are so hell bent of suckin Obama's ball sack?

On my team I've worked with a guy off of wallstreet from jersey, a girl who loves americorps and service from seattle, a guy fresh out of high school who's first career experience is helping improve his own community and help youth like the kids he grew up around, a girl out of college on her way to law school, a girl who grew up in rough neighborhoods and wanted to take more of a part in her community, and a girl from the country who wants to see elementary education in a different setting.

@leaddrop Yo, it's not all inner city kids doing it. I don't know where you got that misunderstanding. The corps members themselves come from all over. this organization spawned so many great organizations that exist today. if you diss City Year and it's vision and purpose, you are dissing the foundation that spawned every americorps program out there right now
-
@leaddrop you said the exact point of City Year. Get kids away from gangs and prisons and into productive lives

Fuckin obama's redshirts.
The only GOOD out of this socialist crap is that these inner city kids are getting off their fat asses and doing something other than tagging walls or knocking over liquor stores.
END the FED
Obama is a traitor

The next generation of brown shirts to force socialism down our throats! I guess Comcast is evil. It's bad enough that they own E!, a shameless 'celebrity' gossip channel shoving Kim Kardashian, and 'Twilight' down our throats, but now they're a front for Obama's socialist assault on human freedom!

looks like i'm getting rid of comcast
This is the the first time in history the youth have been given an opportunity to be young pioneers and join in an organization that has focus on activism and physical training . Wait I take that back it's happen before, but that didn't turn out so good.
