@x3killacam3 - because Washington laid the wood to Miami, there really werent any Miami highlights .... unless of course you consider carrying an injured player off the field a highlight, Miami certainly had plenty of those instances .... 4 plays in a row at one point in the 4th quarter.

Seattle sports fans DESERVE exactly what they get. the biggest crybabies on the planet. i hope the Thunder win the NBA championship so Seattle can be bitter that the team that bailed on them won the championship a few years later. crybaby fans get a crybaby team, the Sonics left town because they wanted a new arena. i watched the Sonics in Key Arena when Durant was a rookie, there was NOTHING wrong with that arena, pretty nice if you ask me.

i agree funkyflights, this game was two years to late, it would have been a great championchip game if the bcs was in existance back then.

there was the bowl coalition but the pac-10,nor the big-10, was not apart of it

@dawgmeat117, You didn't "destroy" anything, just kept crying. UW has more legit championships than you listed. Don't even know the history of your own squad.  Your all over the place and again it takes you 4 posts to get there. Got sensitive and tried talking trash to someone who was sticking up for UW. You got schooled. @206WarEagle and now that i have destroyed your three retroactive NCs you claim, could you please tell me the "rankings available at the time" that gave Auburn the 1913 title? you claimed they were awarded a NC at the time the season was played, NAME IT, name the ranking system available at the time. oh, and PS - 1st and Goal awarded Washington the 1984 NC, if Auburn gets to count 1st and Goal's from 1913, we get to count 1984. awesome. Helms gave us 1960, so we are even w/ Auburn with 3 NCs.

@206WarEagle and lastly we come to Billingsley. a mathematical system (please note, a mathematical system has NEVER been used to crown a national champion in ANY college sport) that was created in 1970, and didnt start handing out retroactive NCs until 1978, SIXTY FIVE YEARS after the 1913 season ended. gee, i sure hope there were Auburn players from 1913 still alive to celebrate their national championship. nothing more impressive than being crowned champions 65 years later. lol @ you.
