I grew up listening to The Allman Brothers and Dereck Trucks has a close tie to them in some way I reckon,not sure exactly how..You would like The Atlanta Rythm Section also,since you like this style of music..You ever heard of them,they were pretty big in the US ,mid to late 70s

@CrashMarket Eat a peach baby ;) Yeah i know of the allmans my uncle was a huge fan and gave me loads of their music! Derek grabbed me a lot more but dikie warren and duane and all of those lads can/could play (liz reed is excellent). Derek had some tutelage from the allmans that is what my uncle has told me but im uncertain of the intricacies!
